Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar of TLC’s 18 Kids and Counting welcomed their 19th child four months early on Thursday evening.

The 18 Kids and Counting matriarch has been hospitalized for treatment of a gallstone infection since she was airlifted by medics last weekend. In a message recorded on their iPhone Tuesday, the couple thanked “everyone for praying for Michelle.” She underwent an emergency c-section after she went into early labor yesterday.

Daughter Josie Brooklyn was born at 6:27PM on Thursday at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Hospital in Little Rock. The little girl weighed just 1 lb., 6 oz and is said to be in stable condition in the hospital’s NICU. Michelle is resting comfortably.

“The most important thing right now is for mom and baby Josie to get as much rest as possible,” a rep for TLC said in a statement Friday. “The family is grateful for all the prayers and well wishes during their recovery.”
