An eighteen year old Russian immigrant accused of stalking actress Hilary Duff and her ex-bf Joel Madden was sentenced to one hundred seventeen days in Los Angeles County Jail on Friday.

Maksim Myaskovskiy was arrested in November after a private investigator from Hil’s security service said that the immigrant had threatened to kill H.D at an industry event. He intially pleaded innocent and was held $1 million bond.

H.D and J.M obtained 100-yard restraining orders against Maksim and his roommate, paparazzi photographer, David Joseph Klein-accusing the men of being in love with Hil. The charges against David were later dropped.

Maksim supposedly entered America two years ago with the sole purpose of meeting the actress who rose to fame in the early part of the decade playing Disney’s clumsy Lizzie McGuire. Court documents claim M.M was planning to buy a gun in order to get her attention.

As a part of his no-contest plea, Maksim will also be subjected to five years probation.
