Britney Spears had to be carried out of a party hosted by rapper Diddy less than 12 hours before her widely criticized MTV comeback performance. The womanizing hip-hopper hosted an all-night bash at his suite in Las Vegas’ Palms Hotel Fantasy Tower. Celebrity snitches say the singer stayed at the Las Vegas bash until 7am.

“She had to be physically helped out at 7 a.m. – barely 12 hours before her disastrous VMAs performance. She couldn’t stand.”

“Diddy’s people had to get her back to her room as discreetly as possible so nobody would see what state she was in.”

A spokesman for Diddy said: “She stopped by the party for a while. He offered her a drink, which she refused; she drank water instead….She was not there until 7 a.m.”
