“Drop Dead Diva” Renewed For Second Season
There’s more Diva on tap at Lifetime. The network’s comedy/drama Drop Dead Diva has been renewed for a second season. Lifetime has ordered 13 new episodes of the series, to air in 2010.
The show centers on a shallow supermodel who dies and is reincarnated in the body of a brilliant plus-size attorney.
Drop Dead Diva premiered in July and became Lifetime’s most-watched original drama series debut since the 2007 debut of Army Wives.

Thank you, thank you , thank you…I love Drop Dead Diva, and had no idea there was a chance the show wouldn’t get another season. I think this is a great show. The writing is excellent, and the actress is incredibly funny. I would love to see an African-American come into play on the second season, other than that KUDOS..and thank you for a second season!!
