Drew Barrymore made a citizen’s arrest on Monday after being rear-ended in a real-life Hollywood hit-and-run. The actress followed the assailant to get the license plate number.

The West Hollywood Sheriff’s Department confirms that Drew was hit from behind at Gardner and Santa Monica between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. Monday afternoon. When the car that hit her took off, she managed to get the license and report it to authorities.
