Drake (eternally “Wheelchair Jimmy” to us) was back in his hometown of Toronto Monday, where he headlined the OVO Music Festival.
Now concertgoers in attendance for the big show are making friendly wagers about whether the rapper’s on-again/off-again romance with Rihanna will ever steam up again?
We’re going with ‘No.’
Drizzy made headlines after he seemed to refer the Barbadian beauty as “Satan” in front of a screaming audience of thousands. The Young Money lyricist performed “Days In The East,” using a fiery image of RiRi on the jumbotron as he sang the lyrics, “Why you keep askin’ me about her? She’s not here right now, she’s not here right now.” The number 6 flashed across the screen three times, giving fans the illusion of 6-6-6.
We all know what that stands for!
We should have known something was up when Drake buried the hatchet with bruisin’ crooner Chris Brown. The singer and rapper collaborated on a skit for last month’s ESPY Awards, hosted by Drake. The public end to the feud came after the men spent more than two years allegedly at war over Rihanna, who had her first fling with Drake after splitting up with Chris following his now famous 2009 assault on her.
