Dr. Phil’s overzealous chattiness in the wake of the Britney Spears Debacle earlier this month may just ruin his career as television’s resident head doctor. Producers for The Dr. Phil Show are having trouble booking “big name celebrities” to appear on Phil’s upcoming 1,000th Episode Special, originally slated to feature an entire guests panel comprised exclusively of A-listers. But celebrities don’t want anything to do with the Doc after his handling of Britney Spears’ Custody Case Meltdown.
Gatecrasher reports:
“Nobody good wants to go near it,” says a source familiar with the booking process.
McGraw’s booker has been trying to lure big names for a “walk-on” with the promise that “then the celebrity can promote any project or charity that they’re involved in.”
