Gee, does everyone in Hollywood have a psycho these days? A man has been arrested for allegedly threatening Dr. Drew and his family, TMZ.com reports.

The TV doc — best known for his West Coast-based advice hotline Loveline and host of MTV & VH1 reality hits, including Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew — claims Charles Pearson has been sending him threatening messages over the Internet, including one in which he allegedly vowed to kill the star’s children and make his wife eat them.

….Well, doesn’t he sound charming?

Pearson, 30, was taken into custody by police at the library at Pierce College in Woodland Hills, California on Wednesday (He is not a student….). He was charged with one count of making criminal threats and is being held on a $150,000 bond.

Dr. Drew — who has replaced Dr. Phil as the media’s Go To Guy on all things psychological — tells the website he hopes Pearson “gets the treatment he deserves, because he clearly needs it.”
