“Lost” Star Doug Hutchison, 51, Marries 16-Year-Old Country Star Courtney Alexis Stodden

In news that could only make Jerry Lee Lewis burst with pride, actor Doug Hutchison, who played the maschochistic Percy in 1999 The Green Mile, has created a wave of controversy after he tied the knot with 16-year-old former beauty queen Courtney Alexis Stodden in Las Vegas last month.

“We’re aware that our vast age difference is extremely controversial,” the pair said in a statement to a baffled E! News on Monday. “But we’re very much in love and want to get the message out there that true love can be ageless.”
We say sometimes “ageless love” can produce “endless nausea.” Couldn’t Doug just send out for a mail-order bride like all the other middle-aged creepers?
Though Stodden can’t legally vote, buy cigarettes, or purchase her own ticket to an R-rated movie, the young woman was permitted to wed after obtaining the permission of a parent or legal guardian to obtain a marriage license, per Nevada law.
“We are totally supportive of this marriage,” Krista Stodden, Courtney’s mom, tells RadarOnline.com. “Doug is a wonderful man and we love him.”
Krista then threw in a bit of extra info that probably made her teen daughter cringe with embarrassment.
“Courtney was a virgin when she married Doug. She is a good Christian girl… She is a beautiful girl. She has real breasts, real lips, she’s not plastic.”
Hutchison played DHARMA initiative head Horace Goodspeed on ABC’s Lost, while Lolita Courtney is trying to launch a singing career in country music under the management of Hutchison’s production company. We advise you to dust off your earplugs before taking a listen to her debut single, “Don’t Put It On Me.”
