Yeah, I been there when I was young and thought that love really should have been a 'many splendored thing'. Then I grew up, got married, got divorced, got married again, got divorced again, and so far have been happy to have the wonderful variety that single life can bring. Some girls will care enough to share a little of themselves with you but aren't quite ready to be hogtied to the stove, if you catch my drift. Not tryin to make you mad or such, but to me you sound a little 'clingy'. Most girls I have run into don't like that and it seems to make them tend to leave even quicker. You know the old 'if you love something let it go' saying? Lotta truth in that. I've found that if you latch onto it and refuse to let it go it can eventually turn on you and make you miserable(hence the divorces). You have to realize that not every girl that likes you enough to smile at you or even give you a kiss is looking to spit out babies and spend most of her time wiping butts! You need to learn to tell when someone is not yet ready to settle down or else you will spend a lot of time making both of you miserable. Suppose she already has kids and is single. That means that something didn't work out for her either. Consider all the signs, Holmes, if she's not 'crawling all over you' it's probably because she doesn't really want to. Or it may be that she is just not ready yet. Whatever the reason, just because you think that you're the one for her doesn't necessarily mean that she thinks so too. Give her some space and see what happens. In any event, don't come off as being too needy. If it doesn't work out in your favor then work on learning to get over it and move on, it's the gentlemanly thing to do. After all it's not all about YOU, like it or not. Learn to be a gentleman and move on graciously. Spend your time learning to exhibit great patience, maturity, and wisdom in your actions. That is the kind of qualities that attract. In other words, don't go chasing her down. Work on developing your qualities instead, then stand back and let your newly-developed actions attract her to you. You should be more concerned with developing the skills that will make her want to stick around once she comes to you, and you should learn to realize that not every one that comes to you will want to stay forever. Never let them see you cry, it's such a turn-off! Instead, let them go graciously. Smile, thank them for the time that they spent with you, and tell them that they will always have a special place in your heart. This will insure that you, too, will have a special place in theirs. Who knows, they may even decide to come back around and spend some more time with you some day if you have made a good impression. In the least, girls talk, and that could work in your favor as well. Just remember, patience and maturity in your actions are qualities that ATTRACT, and being 'clingy' and acting needy are qualities that REPEL. Choose wisely my friend. I wish you well.

Dearest Vinod,
You must be pretty young to feel like that. Horrible isn't It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up You build up all these defenses you build up a whole suit of armor, so that nothing can hurt you, then one preson no differnt from any other preson wanders into your life You give them a piece of you. They didn't ask for it They did something one day like kiss you or smile at you and then your life isn't your own anymore. Love takes hostage. It gets inside you... It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness. So simple a phrase like maybe we should be friends' turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart It hurts. Not just in the imag

*~Love~* Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn’t It makes you so vulnerable.
