Pretend he didn’t ever use the word then. He still told his son to break up with his girlfriend because she was black, and suggested if his daughter brought home a black man they would all tell her to get f–ed. It’s not the use of nigger as such, it’s his racist attitude that is offensive.

I think if black people can use it, white people should be able to as well. Double standards are racist right? Make the word a no-no for everyone, or get over it.
