Lindsay Lohan’s DJ girlfriend Samantha Ronson is being accused of snubbing gay clubs.

Club owners at NYC’s famed Rubyfruit lesbian bar say they reached out to the celebrity mixmistress hoping to hire her to spin at a special benefit concert aimed at stopping the landmark bar from losing its lease, but were told that she does not perform at gay or lesbian venues.

“At first, her agent said it was $8,000 for the night plus airfare and hotel,” Rubyfruit’s host DJ Stacy Ledwith told the New York Post on Tuesday. “Then, he was informed it was a gay and lesbian bar, we were told she doesn’t do those kind of venues.”

“She doesn’t do gay and lesbian bars and clubs. I thought it was kind of strange considering she’s a lesbian,” she adds.

“In our day and age, being gay or lesbian is so accepted. It doesn’t make any sense whatsoever to not work with your own people. It would have been really great to have her in there and help. It’s really like betraying her sisters. It just doesn’t make sense.”

Brandon Phelps, a spokesman for Samantha, insists the DJ does not boycott gay venues. “It is not true. I can tell you that I am the only one that runs her calendar and was never approached by Rubyfruit.”
