Miley Cyrus, The Jonas Brothers, Selena Gomez, and Demi Lovato are among the 29 young stars participating in Disney’s Friends for Change: Project Green, a new environmental initiative designed to help kids save the planet.

Beginning Friday, May 15, The Disney Channel and Radio Disney will air the first in a year-long series of on-air messages inviting young people to join together to help the environment in four key areas: climate, water, waste and habitats. Disney says the project will help kids learn practical ways to preserve the planet.

Kids can join online at Disney.com and vote on how Disney distributes $1 million to environmental causes.
