Disney “Camp Rock” Sequel: “Camp Rock 2″

Disney isn’t wasting any time cashing in on it’s latest movie musical goldmine. The network is already planning a sequel to it’s smash hit Camp Rock. The Jonas Brothers’ Camp debuted to an impressive 8.9 million total viewers Friday night, certifying the made-for-television film as the cable network’s second-most-watched original movie ever behind High School Musical 2 (17.2 million viewers-July 2007).

The Disney Channel hopes to go into production on Camp Rock 2 in late Spring or Summer 2009.

All principal cast members, including Joe, Kevin and Nick Jonas and teen actress newcomer Demi Lovato, are expected to reprise their roles.

OMG!!!! i loved the first Camp Rock. i cant wait 2 see the second one. a rumor is going around that the cast of camp rock want the second one to be in the bahamas. of corse i don’t believe it but we’ll see when camp rock 2 comes out. the only thing that i didnt like about camp rock is that they took out the scene where mitchie and shane kiss. i was fuckin mad when i found out that i had 2 buy the movie on dvd in order 2 see them kiss. but anyway i just loved the dam movie okay.
