Disney’s Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam will start shooting later this summer for a debut on The Disney Channel next year.

Pop trio The Jonas Brothers and Disney starlet Demi Lovato are headed back to Camp Rock in the sequel to last year’s top-rated cable TV movie, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

The brothers return to their beloved Camp Rock only to find that a large number of students have moved to nearby Camp Star. In a Romeo & Juliet-inspired twist, things get complicated when Nick’s character falls in love with the daughter of Camp Star’s owner, played by 17-year-old classical pianist Chloe Bridges.

The original Camp Rock has been watched by an audience of more than 146 million people worldwide.
