Disney Brittany Murphy “Tinker Bell” Movie

Disney has released a statement denying recent rumors that actress Brittany Murphy was fired as the new voice of Tinker Bell in the studio’s film of the same name, still in pre-production. According to a Disney rep the star gracefully bowed out due to a scheduling conflict. Brittany landed the role of Peter Pan’s pint-sized sidekick in 2006. Actress Mae Whitman was announced as her replacement last month.
“When John Lasseter came on board, the schedule changed, and the new schedule didn’t work for her.”
