Discovery Channel Planning Tribute To Captain Phil Harris

1

The Discovery Channel is in the middle of planning a tribute to Captain Phil Harris. Harris, of Discovery’s hit docu-series Deadliest Catch, died Feb. 9 of complications from a stroke he suffered late last month. He was 53. The cranky but proud captain of the Cornelia Marie was a veteran commercial fisherman.

Harris will be featured prominently in the upcoming sixth season of Deadliest Catch, set to debut on Discovery in April, the network also confirmed.

I just watched the show again where Phil has his stroke and passes. It is still very over whelming to me to watch. My heart and prayers are with his two boy’s that he loved so much and wanted so much for. He will be sadly missed, he was to young to die. He will be watching over his fellow crew men. Fare well Phil you made the show great.
