Franklin Lakes socialite Dina Manzo shocked fans Monday night when she announced her exit from the Bravo hit The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
Manzo — whose sister Caroline is also featured on the popular docu-soap — cites co-star Danielle Staub as 99.9 % of the reason she’s saying goodbye to the series.
“The most important thing in my life is to live peacefully and be happy and right now everything in my life, except for this Danielle situation, is happy,” Dina said on last night’s show.
“Danielle is a very troubled lady. She still has anger built up inside her. There’s no dealing with her in a rational way. Maybe she’s got multiple personalities. She hasn’t changed and she’ll never change. I tried. I’m done, I’m out.”
Dina hopes that Housewives fans will understand why her departure is necessary. In a BravoTV.com Blog, she explains: “I do hope you all understand why I HAD to go. No amount of money, attention, fame etc. is worth my happiness. I am finally at a point in my life that I can truly say I am happy. Like I’ve said before, my life isn’t perfect … what is perfect anyway? But when I put my head on my pillow every night and thank God for all my blessings, my last thank you is always for the ability to cut out any negative and strive for true peace in my life. We ALL have the ability to achieve peace.”
