Here’s an interesting tidbit: According to a new 60 Minutes/Vanity Fair poll, a majority of people want to see Academy Award winner Denzel Washington play Jesus on the big screen.
Washington took 21 percent of the vote in a poll to see who would play the Christian savior. That’s seven points higher than Abraham Lincoln deadringer Daniel Day-Lewis. Al Pacino finished third.
Washington nabbed his Best Actor Oscar after playing a crooked cop in the 2001 crime drama Training Day.
