Dennis Hopper was rushed to a New York-area hospital on Wednesday afternoon, sources tell The Insider.

The 73-year-old screen legend was “wearing an oxygen mask with numerous tubes visible,” as he was shuttled to a Manhattan emergency room by ambulance.

Dennis Hopper is a two-time Academy Award nominee; nominated for his writing work in Easy Rider in 1969 and for acting in the 1986 film Hoosiers. He also appears on the STARZ Channel series Crash.
