Demi Lovato Rehab!
Demi Lovato has shut down her Twitter account, abandoned her post on The Jonas Brothers’ concert tour, and checked into rehab for treatment for what insiders say is an emotional breakdown.
Oh dear…Damn that Joe Jonas! Getting dumped by that cad must have really done a number on the poor girl.
A rep for the Sonny With a Chance actress, 18, confirmed the move in a statement issued late Monday evening. Lovato spokesfolks championed the teen star for seeking help for “emotional and physical issues” that have plagued her for months.
She reportedly famously fell out with childhood pal Selena Gomez after Selena grew closer to singer Taylor Swift. And it was just last week that Demi flipped into Full Rant Mode on celeb gawkers (Ya’ll know who you are!) who insists on posting unflattering photographs of her on their blogs.
“I love how some gossip sites deliberately post pictures with disgusting angles of me,” she wrote. “Hahaha thanks guys… Thaaanks. Ps. I hate you. (sic),” she wrote in an Oct. 19 Tweet.
The final straw came over the weekend, TMZ.com tipsters say. That’s when Demi nearly got into a knockdown dragout fight with one of the dancers on her tour. The altercation was the wakeup call Demi needed to reach out for help.
“Demi Lovato left her tour early this weekend in order to seek medical treatment for emotional and physical issues she has dealt with for some time,” the statement read. “Demi has decided to take personal responsibility for her actions and seek help. She is doing just that. [Demi] regrets not being able to finish her tour, but is looking forward to getting back to work in the near future.”

Demi’s just a troubled teen, all the fame and publicity and money and paparazzi probably all just went to her head and stressed her out. Every girls heartbroken after breaking up with a boy at that age, especially when you think its true love which it normally isn’t. SO I can understand why she’d be upset but if she cheated aswell you’ve gotta’ have some sympathy for Joe aswell. As for her fallout with Selena, it just seems like she had a diva tantrum. Jealousy can break up even the best of friendships but personally I think it’s a little spoilt of Demi to fall out with Selena for making new friends, odds are that Demi was making new friends too! Again it seems abit spoilt and bratty that she nearly started a fight with a dancer, thats apalling! But I can still sympathise for her, we can’t even begin to imagine the kind of stress she was put under, having to look good and be a good role model and do her job correctly, it’s like her life isn’t even hers anymore! I love demi and think she’s great especially for her age, she just needs to calm down and take things slower for a while.
