Demi Lovato Lashes Out At Estranged Father

Singer/actress Demi Lovato has accused her estranged father of lying about reconciling with her and her two sisters in recent interviews with the media.

“We still are (estranged). It’s not exactly how he made it out to be. It didn’t have the fairy tale ending that he portrayed. The last time I talked to him was two years ago,” the 16-year-old clean-cut Disney star explains.

The elder Lovato left the family when Demi was only two, the actress insists she tried to maintain a relationship with her dad but says he made their relationship extremely difficult.

“You try to have faith in somebody, even when you’re the last person that believes in him. But when somebody lets you down after you’ve been the only one there for them, and so many times, you don’t know what to do.”

“I had to cut off all connection. It was hurting me too much,” Demi explains.

I just want to say that I have cried for at least 20 minutes after imagining how good God has been to her. She’s been through so much, yet God has blessed her immensely with a voice like hers and 2 albums. I have never in my life cried for a celebrity, not even if I thought that they were amazingly good, I cried because of God’s way of bringing out such an inspiration for a lot of folks. This girl has been on the bad enough tracks to portray it in such a realistically emotional way, enough that I can actually feel her pain.
