Michael Jackson’s former wife Debbie Rowe is striking back at a former friend who leaked emails claiming Rowe told her she didn’t want custody of her two children with the late pop icon.

In Los Angeles Thursday, the former nurse filed a defamation and invasion-of-privacy lawsuit against Rebecca White of Florida, who made the claims in an interview with Extra this week.

The lawsuit — which claims Rowe hasn’t communicated with White since Jackson’s death last month — seeks unspecified damages, but specifically targets any money that White may have been paid by the newsmagazine.
