Canadian-born actor-reality star Dean McDermott is now a US citizen.

The husband of celebutante Tori Spelling was one of 3,000 people sworn in as an American citizen on Aug. 20.

“Well, my first day as an American is winding down. Taking the kids to Menchies to celebrate then calling it a night. What a great day!!” McDermott Tweeted on Saturday.
