They’re both Canadian, but don’t expect Deadmau5 to send any Canuck love Justin Bieber’s way; the DJ/producer took to Twitter over the weekend with a slamming diss aimed at the pop star. Following allegations that Justin attacked DJ Michael Woods at a club in South Korea, Deadmau5 aired his annoyance via the social network.
“Dear @justinbieber, would you please grow the f**k up already? In the meantime, put a shirt on, and stay away from nightclubs.”
An argument allegedly ensued awhen Justin, 19, “muscled” into the DJ booth and requested Michael play hip hop tracks.
In a Twitter rant on Saturday, Woods wrote:
“Next time u wanna take a cheap shot at my Tour Manager @justinbieber stick around to follow it thru instead of runnin off like a lil p***y. Story is @justinbieber + his army of heavy security muscled in to the booth half way thru my set in S. Korea demanding hip hop…So when I told @justinbieber to f**k off and put some clothes on he took a cheap shot at my tour manager and fled behind a wall of security (sic)”
Deadmau5 jumped into the fray, chiming in with:
“Someone needs to jump on Justin’s stage and start telling him what to play. I apologize on behalf of Canada. Someone needs to shut that kid down.”
In news that should surprise no one, Justin’s fans rallied to his defense on Twitter, but this did little to stop the insults from flying. Deadmau5 replied:
“Ok kids. You got me. I’m just jealous that I will never be able to hire writers and producers to make me a chart topper. That’s about it.”
