David Hasselhoff Slams Alcohol Poisoning Rumors
The Hoff is not boozing again, Thank You Very Much. On Monday, David Hasselhoff blasted claims that he was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Saturday night with a blood alcohol level tetering nearing .39.
According to reports, The Hoff had to be rushed to the emergency room after his 16-year-old daughter Haley discovered him unconscious and suffering from alcohol poisoning in a bathroom in the family’s Encino mansion. The report also states that it was Pamela Bach, Hoff’s ex-wife, who drove him to the hospital.
Not so, according to The Hoff’s legal team. David’s lawyers, Melvin Goldsman and Marci Levine, have released an exclusive statement to Extra, calling the recent rumors “grossly inaccurate.”
“Mr. Hasselhoff was at no time in the condition described in those stories. Mr. Hasselhoff spoke to his attorneys on Sunday, and was absolutely fine. However, Mr. Hasselhoff is both disturbed and saddened by the fact that a certain individual is disseminating grossly inaccurate stories about him to the press for ulterior motives.”
