David Hasselhoff “Britain’s Got Talent” Judge

What’s that old saying? You know, the one about closed doors and open windows?
“When God closes a door, He opens a window…”
Ah — that’s it. A good ohem for PopCrunchers. A good ohem for former Knightrider David Hasselhoff.
The ex-Baywatch hunk will join UK beauty Amanda Holden and British comedian Michael McIntyre on the next season of the ITV1 talent show, Britain’s Got Talent.
The Hoff is replacing music mogul Simon Cowell, who will appear sporadically, on the UK TV talent show that catapulted Billboard darling Susan Boyle to fame in 2009. Hasselhoff, 58, spent four years as a judge on Talent’s American counterpart before leaving the series last year. He makes the move across the pond less than a week after A&E canceled his critically-panned docu-series, The Hasselhoffs, due to poor ratings.
