David Carradine Dead At 72; Suicide Suspected
David Carradine, famous for his roles on the 70s television series Kung Fu and more recently the Kill Bill film franchise, has died.
According to reports out of Asia, the 72-year-old was found hanged in his hotel room in Bangkok this morning and is believed to have committed suicide.
A spokesman for the U.S. Embassy, Michael Turner, confirmed the death of the 72-year-old actor. He said Carradine died either late Wednesday or early Thursday, but he could not provide further details out of consideration for his family.
His manager Chuck Binder says the actor arrived in Bangkok on Monday to film Stretch. He was found dead Thursday morning in his hotel room by a member of the production company.
