David Bowie is the latest artist rumoured to be among the headliners for the upcoming 2009 Coachella Music Festival.

The rock n’ roll innovator has allegedly been asked to perform his The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars album at the festival.

“Coachella tried to book Bowie last year and he refused, so they got Prince to headline instead. But there’s a very strong chance they will be able to persuade him this year.”
