David Boreanaz Kristina Hagan Sexual Harassment Lawsuit
More trouble for Bones actor David Boreanaz. The admitted adulterer — romantically-linked to Tiger Woods mistress Rachel Uchitel — is being sued by an actress who claims the former Angel star sexually harassed her while filming his hit FOX series.
Aspiring actress Kristina Hagan has hired The Bar Association’s resident Captain Save-A-Ho Gloria Allred to represent her in a suit against FOX and the married Boreanaz, who she accuses of sending her “sexually inappropriate text messages” in August 2009, when they began filming the crime drama together.
According to the legal papers, obtained by TMZ, Hagan shared a car ride with the former Buffy The Vampire Slayer star last September and told her he was “the boss” and could “make things happen for her”.
The suit goes on to claim that Boreanaz parked the car and “attempted to kiss her and touch her breasts.” She pushed him away. Apparently “No” translates into “Eff Me!” in David’s world, because the actor then reportedly “unzipped his pants” and groped himself. He repeated his actions in another incident that month, when he is claimed to have fondled Hagan in his trailer before he “masturbated in front of her.”
I spy a trip to sex rehab in someone’s future!
On Thursday morning, Gloria and Kristina held a press conference outside a courthouse in downtown Los Angeles, where they filed suit against Boreanaz:
“Today we have filed a lawsuit on behalf of Kristina Hagan, an actress, against David Boreanaz, in employment. Hagan is a member of the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federal of Television and Radio Artists. She is an actress who is working towards her goals, but who like many other actresses has not be able to achieve them. For that reason she is extremely vulnerable as many actresses are in Hollywood….We also represent another woman who has filed a charge of sexual harassment in employment against Mr. Boreanaz. We have asked the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing to investigate. Ms. Hagan is looking forward to her day in court.”
Hagan is seeking an unspecified sum in damages.
Boreanaz, 41, isn’t going down without a fight. He’s hired high-powered attorneys of his own and they say Kristina’s legal grumblings are nothing more than a desperate extra trying to squeeze cash from an embattled star.
“The allegations concerning any alleged inappropriate conduct by David Boreanaz are totally fabricated and absurd,” the actor’s rep said today. “There is no validity to this lawsuit.”
The legal action will likely torpedo any chance Boreanaz had of salvaging his nine year marriage to former Playboy Playmate Jaime Bergman. The couple — who have two children — have been in counseling since May, when Boreanaz confessed to cheating on his wife after another former mistress threatened to go public with their affair.
