David Beckham hurt his right knee and limped off after he ran into the “advertising hoardings” behind the goal, BBC News reports.

The injury occurred during the second half of his team Real Madrid’s 1-1 draw against Getafe.

Beckham, 31, will undergo tests Monday to determine the extent of the injury, and he’ll miss his team’s next game on Wednesday.

In January, the soccer star and wife Victoria announced that they’re moving the family to Los Angeles this summer, after Beckham signed a multimillion-dollar deal to play for Major League Soccer’s L.A. Galaxy. (The Beckhams have three boys: Brooklyn, 7; Romeo, 4; and Cruz, 2.)
