The music video is so unrealistic and pretentious. David does not hang out with those types of people in the video - blondes and upper-class teens. He is the type that hangs out with regular teen boys who talk about games, what’s cool with the dudes, etc. Archuleta did not write that song so the music video does not fit him at all. He is merely a singer of somebody else’s written song. So a music video featuring him as a singer and another boy having a crush with a girl is more fitting. The video is trying hard to make him look like a teen sex idol at its beginning phase.

Nono- not sure what makes you think these kids are “upper class”. He hangs out with guys and girls probably a lot like this- pretty normal looking kids to me. In fact when he went home before tour, he and his friends (guys and girls) went to lake powell on a house boat. He is a great kid and singing about a crush fits him perfectly. It is a pretty innocent emotion, and the video portrayed it perfectly. Just my opinion.

I think this was perfect for the song and for David. It showed his ability to portray a song and allow the audience to really feel its meaning. He actually has a good start to some acting abilities!! Loved it!!
