New David Archuleta Album, “The Other Side Of Down,” On Sale Sept. 14

David Archuleta, the 19-year-old heartthrob named the “Best American Idol Ever” in a Billboard readers poll, has revealed the title and release date for his hotly-anticipated sophomore set.
The Other Side of Down debuts Sept. 14.
Archuleta’s new album is the follow-up to his 2008 self-titled debut, and disc of holiday covers, Christmas from the Heart, released in 2009.
“Something ‘Bout Love” is the first single to lead Archuleta’s new album. The dance-fueled track, produced by pop-rock impressarios S*A*M & Sluggo and co-written by Archuleta, the 19-The single will be available for digital download on July 20.
“I’m really looking forward to releasing this album. Most of the songs on the album represent thoughts and experiences that I’ve personally gone through,” Archuleta said in a statement. “I hope this album helps people understand more of where I’m coming from as an artist and as a person. It’s about moving forward in life, making progress in accomplishing your goals and dreams while appreciating what life has given you.”
