Anyone remember American Idol Season 7 contestant Daniel Noriega? Yep, he’s still around. Before Adam Lambert brought his own brand of “glam rock” to the Idol stage, L.A. gay Danny Noriega tried his hand at cracking stardom on the FOX talent competition…..Yeah…That didn’t go so well.

Nonetheless, the former Top 10 finalist is back on the scene and hoping to make an impression with his sassy new summer single, “24/7.”

“I don’t care what they say about me / I don’t care what they think / I’m no ‘American Idol,’’ he sings. “Let me see you get in the top 10 / I don’t even know how you got in / FYI, for your info / you make me LMAO.”

Are we being Punk’d? This is like a bad SNL sketch. Very A Night At The Roxbury-esque. But least it will get people talking. After all, you know what they say about publicity.
