Daniel Radcliffe “Equus” Nude Role Delays “Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince” Release

Daniel Radcliffe poses in a promotional photo for his role in Broadway’s Equus.
Film industry insiders say Daniel Radcliffe’s nude soiree across the Broadway stage may be to blame for the delay in the release of the star’s sixth Harry Potter film.
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will be released in July 2009 instead of November 2008, as originally scheduled, Warner Bros said last Wednesday.
If the film has been promoted in November, it would have clashed with Radcliffe’s full-frontal exposure as Anton Strang in the stage production of Equus, thus interferring with the innonence of the boy wizard Daniel made famous.
