Daniel Bark Will Plead Not Guilty In Hit-And-Run Death Of Alexis Cohen
A lawyer for the New Jersey man charged with the drunken hit-and-run death of former American Idol hopeful Alexis Cohen, says his client will enter a “not guilty” plea.

Daniel Bark, 23, was leaving the scene of an accident at a parking lot adjacent to Hemingway’s Bar in Seasides Heights, NJ shortly before 4AM Saturday when his 2005 Mitsubishi Galant struck and killed Cohen, Ocean County Prosecutor Marlene Lynch Ford says.
“There will be a not guilty plea entered across the board for all of the complaints,” Daniel Glassman, an attorney for the Toms River, NJ man tells PEOPLE.com. “We don’t have anything in regards to the mechanics of how this young woman was killed.”
“There are a lot of unanswered questions regarding how the accident occurred,” the lawyer adds.
Daniel Bark has been charged with aggravated manslaughter, death by vehicular homicide, and leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident. He is currently on suicide watch in Ocean County Jail on $150,000 bail.
