What do I think? Well, I think people who complain about someones hair colour should grow an imagination. Don’t rely on the details from a book. Like come on. Many details change between books and movies, and you shouldn’t get so hung up over something so silly. Dakota was FABULOUS in this role. I didn’t even know it was her until 2 weeks after I watched the movie and asked a coworker who the “new” actress was.

People! People! This is Dakota Fanning we are talking about! She is one the best actresses ever! Get off her back! When I read the books I imagined someone who looked exactly like Dakota only with a pixie haircut! She’s perfect!

I’m more concerned about who they’ll get to play Jacob. Going by how he is described in the book; 6’5 muscular and sexy, that young boy for twilight won’t cut it. Unless he had a serious growth spert.

I’m tottaly on board with this girl, you really need a quality actress to play a roll like jane and really, how many girls that age have HER edge? and she would look awesome in a pixie haircut

I have no problems with Dakota Fanning playing Jane, but for real, wouldn’t Jodelle Ferland be a great Jane? I’d love it!
Maybe Abigail Breslin, too, but she’s just too innocent in my opinion. I don’t think she could ever play a blood sucking monster. :].
So yeah. My vote goes to Jodelle but my back up is deffinitely Dakota.
