The world has a new Cristiano Ronaldo.
On Thursday, Katia Ronaldo, the sister of the famed Manchester United forward, told Portuguese news website Expresso.com that the 25-year-old soccer star has named his new baby son — reportedly born via surrogate June 17 — Cristiano as well.
“He’s called Cristiano just like his dad. Cristiano chose the name, but we like it,” Katia divulged.
Ronaldo — who represented Portugal in this year’s World Cup — revealed news of the baby’s birth on Facebook last week. “It is with great joy and emotion that I inform I have recently become father to a baby boy. As agreed with the baby’s mother, who prefers to have her identity kept confidential, my son will be under my exclusive guardianship,” the sportsman and Armani spokesmodel wrote at the time.
