Thomas Gibson, who stars as FBI agent Aaron Hotch in the CBS suspense thriller Criminal Minds, was arrested in Los Angeles Sunday on suspicion of drunk driving.

According to reports, the 50-year-old actor was taken into custody after he drove through a barricade in the city’s Downtown District. Officers “detected an odor of alcohol” when they pulled him over.

Gibson — who previously appeared in the ’90s sitcom Dharma and Greg — refused to take a breathalyzer test. He was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor DUI and later released on $15,000 bail.
