Late Late Show host Craig Ferguson surprised his audience with the announcement that he got married during his holiday break. The 46-year-old comedian wed longtime girlfriend art dealer Megan Wallace Cunningham in a private ceremony last month.

“The wedding took place in Vermont, where they have legalized gay civil unions – and I married a woman,” Craig, 46, chuckled.

“I am European, so I was both the groom and the maid of honor.” The Scotsman said he wore a kilt during the ceremony and is hoping to find a celeb combo name like “Brangelina,” suggesting “Cragan” as a possibility.

The marriage is Craig’s third. The late night host already has a 7-year-old son, Milo, from his second marriage.
