Courtney Love Sued: London & Co Courtney Love Nirvana Catalogue Lawsuit

As if she needed anything to drive her further over the edge, rock n’ roll widow Courtney Love has been sued by a management firm for allegedly failing to pay commissions for the partial sale of her share of the Nirvana publishing catalogue.
The eccentric Courtney, who was married to Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, sold a portion of the catalogue for $19.5 million last year. In a suit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court Tuesday, music management firm London & Co accuses Courtney of pulling a fast one with their 5% cut of the sale proceeds. The firm is asking for $975,000.
Love’s attorney, Howard Weitzman, says his client is aware of the allegations, but offered no further comment, saying: “I’m aware there’s an issue between London Co. and Courtney, but I have not seen the lawsuit.”
