Courtney Love Online Rants Lawsuit–Designer Dawn Simorangkir Sues
Courtney Love’s grammatically-challenged online rants have landed the eccentic rocker in a Los Angeles courtroom.
In Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday, Austin, Texas-based fashion Dawn Simorangkir, also known as Boudoir Queen, filed a libel and breach of contract lawsuit against the singer over what she calls several “menacing and disturbing” statements posted on the Internet.
She also says Courtney never paid her for some work she completed.
The suit cites remarks posted on the Black Hole singer’s Twitter and MySpace pages, and in the feedback section of Etsy.com that refer to Simorangkir as a “nasty lying hosebag thief,” a drug addict, and a prostitute.
