Famous for:
Singer for the band Hole and wife of the late Kurt Cobain. She also received a Golden Globe nomination for her role Althea in Forman’s movie People vs Larry Flynt.

What went wrong?
Courtney Love was a substance abuser for quite a while, but in Cobain she found her kindred spirit. When he killed himself in 1994 she fell apart. She was arrested for breaking windows into her boyfriend’s house and she overdosed on Oxycotin. She failed to show up for her hearings and her daughter Francis Bean was taken away from her by social services. In 2005 she was sentenced to 6 months in lock down rehab. In 2006 she was finally clean (or so she claims) and on the mend. She has taken to plastic surgery of late and is looking decidedly better, although the problem with many of these train wrecks is they do not know when to stop going under the knife.
