“Cougar Town” Halted Due To Courteney Cox’s “Private Family Matter”
A “private family matter” for actress Courteney Cox has halted production on her hit ABC comedy, Cougar Town, PEOPLE Magazine confirmed Saturday.
Cougar Town — airing Wednesday nights @ 9PM — has been a freshman success for The Alphabet Network and the former Friends actress. The nature of the issue was not explained.
“We can confirm production on ‘Cougar Town’ has been temporarily shut down in order for Courteney to deal with a private family matter,” a rep for ABC said in a press statement over the weekend.
