Corey Feldman is heartbroken about his pending divorce from wife Susannah “Susie” Sprague Feldman and remains hopeful that they can rebuild their marriage.

His representative said: “Corey is deeply hurt and saddened by this unexpected change in their relationship, and has done nothing to contribute to the demise of the marriage.”

The ’80s-era heartthrob is “hopeful that he and Susie can work to resolve this quickly and amicably, and he is fully committed to doing what is best for the welfare of their son,” the rep’s statement adds.

Susannah filed for divorce last Thursday due to irreconcilable differences. She is requesting spousal support and sole custody of their five-year-old son, Zen Scott, with visitation rights for Corey.

Corey and Susannah married in 2002 – nine months after meeting in a nightclub – on the first season finale of The Surreal Life. MC Hammer officiated the ceremony….which should have been the first sign that there would be trouble.
