Confirmed: Lauren Conrad Leaving “The Hills”
The Hills will no longer be alive with the dramatic life of Lauren Conrad.
On Thursday, Hills executive producer Liz Gateley confirmed that the 23-year-old’s upcoming fifth season on the series will be her last.
Liz says L.C. is leaving the reality show to lead a more private life.
“It is bittersweet. But I understand why [Lauren] is saying goodbye. I will be forever grateful for all that she shared with us and am incredibly proud of the television we made together.”
The Hills debuted in 2006 and has followed the fashion designer as she struggles with love, life, and romance.
The fifth season of The Hills premieres March 30 on MTV.

Lauren is a very likable character unlike THE CITY’S Whitney Port who just comes across as a pseudo fashion savy airhead with constant “Oh EM GEE!!” expression on her face. A shame too cuz on THe Hills I actually liked her, I guess she gets annoying with the more airtime she gets.
I thought i could get into The City but the plotlines are as dull and pointless as their characters.. The Hills will def. be missed.
