Conan O’Brien Hits Head During “Tonight Show” Stunt
Conan O’Brien injured his head while taping a stunt for The Tonight Show on Friday.
A rep for NBC tells The Associated Press Conan hit his head doing a stunt. He was examined at a hospital and released — but not before cracking a few jokes about the mishap.

“Last thing I remember I was enjoying the play with Mrs. Lincoln, and the next thing I knew I was in bed being served cookies and juice,” Conan joked afterward.
A rerun of The Tonight Show, featuring actor Jeremy Piven, aired Friday.

Striking your head doing a stunt can be funny, but it really hurts too. Conan should have been wearing padding like they do on American Gladiator. Everyday blows to the head kill and render healthy children useless for the rest of the their lives. The biggest culprit is still the car. Safety helmets for motorists is an idea whose time has come.
