“Cold Case” & “Without A Trace” Cancelled?
CBS crime dramas Without A Trace and Cold Case could be on their last legs-literally. The network is thinking of bringing down the axe on both shows because they’re too expensive to produce, according to a published report from Entertainment Weekly.
CBS bosses are reportedly disappointed that, despite their massive budgets, Cold Case and Without A Trace aren’t bringing in the big numbers compared to the network’s other procedural dramas, like the CSI franchise.
Producers of both shows have been warned that the end could come when the current season ends in May.
Warner Bros., which produces both shows, is looking for ways to freeze or cut cast salaries in an effort to save the shows.
