Clay Aiken is going to be a daddy! The platinum-selling singer who rose to fame as the first runner-up on the second season of American Idol is reportedly expecting his first child with fifty year old record executive Jaymes Foster.

According to TMZ.com: Multiple sources tell us the mother is Jaymes Foster, a record producer and Clay’s best friend. He lives at her home when he’s in L.A.

Jaymes contributed production on Clay’s latest LP, On My Way Here. She is due in August.

Although Jaymes was artifically inseminated, her pal Clay will be lending more than his sperm to the child’s upbringing. The pair will reportedly raise their baby together.

Clay, who has persistently been plagued by questions about his sexuality, is currently starring in the Broadway production of Spamalot.
