Christina Applegate Exits “Up All Night”

0

Christina Applegate’s grown tired of staying Up All Night.

The actress has announced her exit from the NBC comedy, just a month after the departure of creator and executive producer Emily Spivey. Christina played working mom Reagan Brinkley, a former producer on the fictional talk show Ava who is adjusting to life as a stay-at-home mom. The comedy also stars Will Arnett and Maya Rudolph.

Applegate said in a statement:

“It’s been a great experience working on Up All Night, but the show has taken a different creative direction and I decided it was best for me to move on to other endeavors. Working with Lorne Michaels has been a dream come true and I am grateful he brought me into his TV family. I will miss the cast, producers and crew, and wish them the best always.”

Up All Night is soon expected to make the transition from single camera shooting to filming in front of a live studio audience.
